Romance 'White'

Rosenthal’s famous Romance design came to be briefly after Philipp Rosenthal visited Bjorn Wiinblad’s studio in Denmark.

Impressed by Wiinblad’s work Philipp commissioned the ceramic artist to design a set of dinnerware that was both decorative and modern.

Romance, or as it is known in German: Romanze, was an instant success and briefly after being issued in white many different decors were made.
