Hutschenreuther’s Dresden shape is reminiscent of porcelain from the Rococo era.
Dresden was first produced in 1929 in white. The decoration called Saxony, featuring gilding and monochrome flowers, was produced between 1962 and 1968.
Despite it’s relatively brief production run Saxony is one of the more well known and popular variaties of the Dresden shape.
Hutschenreuther Dresden is made of white porcelain with gilding.
