Burleigh’s Blue Bird pattern is one of it’s most well known.
The pattern was originally introduced around 1913 under the name ‘Chinese Pheasant’, it later became ‘Blue Bird’ and is currently known as ‘Blue Regal Peacock’.
Blue Bird has an elaborate decor featuring several birds, flower and foliage with one exquisite bird somewhere near the center.
All of Burleigh’s wares are made of Earthenware. In the case of Blue Bird this is earthenware with a slightly off white colour.
The wares are durable enough for everyday use but festive enough for special occasions.
