Faenza

Faenza was designed by Peter Winquist and named after the italian city of Faenza. Which is known historically as one of the country’s most important centers of ceramic production.

In 1971 the design, then still called the ‘EH’ design won a gold medal at the Faenza Ceramic Biennial. It was produces between 1973 and 1979.

Faenza has different versions. This version is decorated with black bands. Other versions include designs with little flowers designed by Inkeri Leivo. The design is defined by its very minimal clean lines. It is made of white porcelain.
