We have successfully sent thousands of parcels containing precious and fragile dinnerware all over the planet. No matter what you order, we will do everything we can to ensure a safe delivery. Also, we aim to use as little plastic as we can in the packing process.
Here I will briefly summarize how we make sure your order will arrive in one piece.
First we select your items in our warehouse. The ordered items are checked to see if the condition is as communicated and to see if all items are clean.
Then the items are wrapped. This is mostly done with a plastic free alternative to bubble wrap. In our experience this material is not only more environmentally safe, but also better at protecting its contents.
The Wrapped items are then carefully placed in a box. The box is made of of a double layer of corrugated cardboard, making it very strong.
We use a box that is large enough to have at least 3cm of padding around the wrapped items so any kind shock that results in a dent will not touch the items.
The box is then closed, making sure that all the gaps are sealed to make the box even stronger.
Different methods are used for different items. The above gives an indication of the care we take to make sure your precious items will arrive safely.
