About Thomas – 608 – Sugar Bowl

608 is the number of a classic pattern by Thomas Germany.

Not all old Thomas patterns are named, most are numbered though. This lovely pattern is numbered 608.

The pattern consists of a minimal but elegant decor of a band of laurels in black and gold on the rim. The shape is a classic art deco inspired shape. Based on the backstamp the set can be dated as 1930s.

All 608 is made of pure white porcelain of very high quality.

Due to the gilding regular dishwashing 608 is not advised.
