About Royal Worcester / Palissy – Avon Scenes Blue – Gravy Boat

Palissy Pottery started production at the A.E. Jones Longton works following the ware in 1946. Palissy was bought by Royal Worcester in 1958 and became part of the Portmeirion Group in 2009.

Palissy Avon Scenes Blue is one of there well know series. It is made of cream coloured earthenware with a blue transferware decoration which features the river Avon.

Palissy Avon Scenes Blue is dishwasher safe unless it has crazing, which occurs frequently on older pieces.
