The plate was made by Royal Crown Derby and belong to the series ‘Red Aves’.
Olde Avesbury is one of Royal Crown’s iconic patterns, the red version is called ‘Red Aves’. The item is decorated in a beautiful red colour with gilding, flowers and pheasants.
The plate has been marked ‘XXIII’ meaning it was made in 1960.
The plate measures 21.5cm in diameter.
The plate is in an excellent but vintage condition. Some minor surface wear is possible.
