A lidded sugar bowl made by Royal Copenhagen, Denmark in the 1930’s.
The bowl is made of white porcelain and is decorated with a hand painted decor of of flowers in baskets in brown and gold.
The set is marked with the usual Royal Copenhagen signage. The painter number is probably 44. It also carries the numner of the series, golden basket: 959, and the number of the shape: 9456. I could not find another example of this shape with some thorough research, so I can conclude it’s a very rare model.
The item measures 12.5cm in height.
The item is in excellent condition with a small restoration on a side handle.
