A Rörstrand Koka Eggcup.
About Rörstrand – Koka – Eggcup
Rörstrand’s Koka design is typical for Rörstrand’s wares of the 60s and 70s.
Koka was made after a design by Rörstrand’s in house designer Hertha Bengtston. The design features a wide kobalt blue rim with lines and/or leaf shapes in darker blue.
Koka had a very long production run between 1956 and 1988.
All Koka is made of porcelain, which is a slightly unusual material in this kind of design. Because of this it is very durable.
