About Portmeirion – Summer Strawberries – Dinner Plate

Portmeirion was founded in 1960 by the legendary pottery designer Susan Williams-Ellis

The Summer Strawberries pattern was designed by Angharad Menna in 1980.

The pattern depicts strawberry plants with strawberry fruit and flowers. It was in production until 1990.

All Summer Strawberries is made of earthenware.

The backstamp mentions that it is dishwasher proof, however when pieces have crazing dishwashing is not recommended.
