A stunning crescent shaped side plate made by Meissen in the second half of the 20th century.
The plate features Meissen’s famous hand painted Zwiebelmuster or Onion Pattern. The onion pattern is one of the oldest porcelain patterns that is still widely produced. It was designed at Meissen following examples of Chinese Qianlong period porcelain.
The item is made of white porcelain and has beautiful reticulated edges.
Crescent shaped side plates can be set next to dinner plates on a dining table.
The width of the dish is 26cm and the depth is 19cm.
The item is in a perfect condition.
