About Meissen – Rote Rose – Antique Small Serving Dish

An antique small ‘Rote Rose’ serving dish made by Meissen in Germany between 1850 and 1924.

The dish is decorated with hand painted pink roses. The decor is called ‘Rote Rose’ or red rose. The item has a braided patern on the rim. and gilded edges. The dish bears Meissens’s crossed sword mark with two scratches designating it as second quality.

The dish measures 12,5 cm in diameter.

The item is in an excellent condition with some  very minor surface wear.
