About Heinrich – Teacup
Heinrich was a porcelain manufacturer founded by Franz Heinrich in 1896. In 1901 the company produced it’s first porcelain items. Franz Heinrich died in 1928 leaving the company in excellent shape. The Heinrich company was very good in producing beautiful bone china, a rarity in Germany. Therefore Villeroy & Boch bought the company in 1976.
This design, which is unnamed, features a black rim in a fantasy decoration and gilding on the edge. The model of the items indicate it was made in the 1950’s.
This line of Heinrich is very suitable for a formal table setting. It is not suitable for the dishwasher because of the gilding.
