A rare set of early English porcelain tea cups and saucers. They were made by Caughley. The cups are made of white hard paste porcelain and decorated with a transferware floral pattern.

Caughley, also known as Salopian made fine porcelain between 1775 and 1799 near Broseley in Shropshire. This set is a typical example of the high quality wares that Caughley was known for in its day.

The cups measure 3.8cm and 4.1cm in height. The saucers measure 10.9cm and 11.2cm in diameter.

The saucers and one cup are in perfect condition. One cup is chipped.
