About Arabia Finland – Fennica – Lunch Plate
Fennica is a variation of Arabia Finland’s most well known design.
In 1960 Ulla Procope designed a shape that was used by Arabia in several different executions, the most well known being the deep brown Ruska design.
All Fennica is made from light grey stoneware decorated with subtle brown bands. This combination was designed by Richard Lindh in 1979.
Fennica stayed in production until 1985. This relatively short production time means that is is more rare than other well known Arabia designs.
Arabia Finland is famous for the durability of their dinnerware, Fennica is no exception.
