About Arabia Finland – Arctica Nova – Coffee Cup and Saucer
Arctica is an Arabia Finland design that is so well known that is almost needs no introduction.
It was designed by Inkeri Leivo and first sold in 1955. Initially all Arctica was white, hence the name.
In the 80s and 90s Arabia produced Arctica with a number of designs. These designs have proven to be really successful and are amongst the most sought after pieces by Arabia of all times.
Arctica Nova is a design made by Dorrit von Fieandt in 1988. The design features swipes of blue and red.
